HI..

I am trying to use <generator> tag in <composite-id>. As per the hibernate 3.0 DTD, <generator> tag is not allowed in <composite-id>. Is there any work around or other way to achive this? My primary goal is to call a sequence to generate the id(which is in composite-id). on a column.

Please suggest me in this regard. Thanks in advance.

i have the same problem if you got the solution plz let me know
i need to make sequence in hibernate in format DDMMYYLPAD(99999) with composite ID
