Hello,

I have a web application that opens hibernate session at beginning of http request and commits it at the end of http request.

When my application loads object from database and modifies its attributes (calls setter), Hibernate automatically updates database when session is committed.

I would like Hibernate to update database only when saveOrUpdate is called, is it possible?

Thank you very many
