Interceptor onFlushDirty previousState with autoflush

Hi all,

I have a question about the previousState argument of onFlushDirty() of a hibernate interceptor when flushmode is set to auto:

Does previousState contain the state of the entity-properties, when the object was initially loaded from the database within the current session or does it contain the state since the last update (autoflush-event)?

Probably the state since the lastFlush - since at that moment changes have already be sent to the database...

Can anyone confirm this? I have the impression that previousState contains the state-object of the initial database load.
