 Post subject: one-to-one always bidirectional ?

Hello,

I am beginning to believe that every one-to-one mapping needs bi-directional navigation to make sure that where you use shared primary key or foreign key it requires both objects to have reference to other one.

It sounds bit odd from OO side though that to make relational side store correct values we have to introduce a member on each associated object.
