I am new to Hibernate and HQL.
I know to write HQL queries for String type and integer types
Can anyone please give me the sample examples regarding Set and Map types.

Well, HQL queries really depend on OBJECTS, not the Java collection classes.

So, rather than concentrating on Lists or Sets, concentrate on the actualy classes you have. It's from your Java objects that HQL queries should be derived from, not Java collection classes.
