Hibernate version: 3.1.2

Hello,

I am trying to figure out how to use hibernate with a DB2 function called ENCRYPT(). It is used to encrypt our username/password in a special encryption column (not a VARCHAR).

I need to know if Hibernate has a special mapping for this, or if a special mapping can be written, and how.

I appreciate your help!

Hello did you ever find a solution to this? We are trying to connect to an encrypted DB2 database with no luck. Did you have any success?

cheers
Martin
