We have a date that is stored as a timestamp column type in MySQL in GMT (env var TZ is set to "GMT").
We do a query based on the stored timestamp as compared to now (converted to GMT) but
the query does not return anything, but it should.
The only theory we have is that now, after being converted to GMT is being converted back
to local time by Hibernate.
Does hibernate convert either one of the dates/times into local time before comparison?
If so, how do we tell hibernate to not do anything at all with the date (do not convert to local time)?
