 Post subject: is it possible to edit foreign key in Hibernate?

In my website users list their software, but sometimes I submit a software myself. Now, if the user creates an account and find out that his software is already listed, is it possible to edit the foreign key into his/her Id

Foreign keys are database constraints properties for tables columns. I do not understand what are you want?
