Hi,

I have the following mapping in my Employee hibernate mapping file.

<many-to-one
name="department"
class="org.hibernate.test.Department"
cascade="none"
outer-join="auto"
update="true"
insert="true"
>

I want to know.

If i need to create a new deparment and associate it to employee,
are the following steps enough to save the new department to database?

Department d = new Department();
employee.setDepartment(d);
saveOrUpdate(employee);
