I couldnt find the answer by searching and I guess the answer would be no. But does the Hibernate JPA API support entity-name ? Basically I have several mappings to the same class but want to refer to the mapping using the entity-name instead of the concrete class in Java Code/EJB-QL.

Can someone confirm this ?

Thanks,
-Guillaume
