Hello,

I'm having an issue with hibernate and special characters like ' or " or *.

These characters are included within the varchar variable in the database (DB2). However when hibernate is mapping to these fields, it is unable to read these characters.

So the question is, how do I get HBM to escape these mapped fields?
Also, how do I escape these characters in a regular hibernate query?

thanks guys!
