i have an Oracle 9i database, column with LONG type in my table.
in the persisted class, i have String type for this column.
i dont know wich type i must use in my mappibng file. when i use string type, my String property is truncated in the database to 255 character.

so my question is, wich type we must use to mappe LONG type?

Hibernate version: 3.2.1
