Hibernate version:
3.2.6 (2008.02.07)

Name and version of the database you are using:
5.0.51a-community-nt

My trigger works as expected when data is inserted/updated from the mysql prompt. Likewise when I use squirrel, with or without auto commit. Ditto for my app running against SQL Server. But when I point my app at mysql, the trigger does not fire. It is bizarre.

Can somebody vouch for hibernate under these circumstances; meaning: do your mysql triggers work when using hibernate?
