 Post subject: Oracle Services instead of SIDS

we are using oracle services and can gain connections to the database by switching the last value to /SID versus :SID. However, we cannot get any of the tools and utilities to generate any files for usage. Is there a document that explains this or some magic workaround?

We are using the 3.2 release of Hibernate which is included with JBoss Developer Studio.
