 Post subject: Criteria based on column name not property name

I am dealing with a legacy schema and I need to do a criteria based query that references certain columns in the data model that we do not want to map to properties in the java bean. Is there a way to add restrictions/criteria based on a column name?

You might use native SQL queries, check out:
