Hi All,
How to prove Hibernate is better than plain JDBC.
we are doing the project for online shopping mall.
Could anybody give me some useful reasons to my topic

It isn't.
Hibernate is, basically, manager-pushed fuzz.
A manager has the idea that you call "persist" on some object and then all magically goes to the database.
He has no idea of the amount of jerry-rigging and infinite configuration behind that post.

So my advice is, if you have a good JDBC solution, don't fix what's not broken.
