 Post subject: Attribute cascade in Hibernate and in the database

If I have in a mapping file an entity, for example User, and a child entity in this file called ParkingPlace and in the database I have already the cascade attribute for ParkingPlace, should I specify the "cascade" attribute in hibernate if its already specified in the database?
