I want to say that I'm very disappointed to see that there seems to be rather nobody here answering questions to posts. I see there are a lot of newbies here trying to get a first working application with Hibernate and running into some problems. And their hope is that THIS is the right forum to get the help they need. But looking at the number of unanswered questions to posts here this does not be the case (anymore?).

(Well, sometimes this may be due to people posting don't use the search before posting.)

So guys out there: wouldn't you like contribute to a forum which is known for it's friendly and collaborating atmosphere?

Carlo

I think one reason that many posts are not answered it's because they are not directly related to hibernate but how people understand:
1. Java in General (classpath, jar etc),
2. JDBC

Another factor that can be seen is that poeple doesn't read Hibernate documentation (or claims to have red them, but by the question it's obviously not the case.)

At the end, it's also tiring to answer post which are not related to hibernate or to lazy people who doesn't read the docs.

Finally, there is non-free supports if you really want to have quick answer. Red Hat will probably laugh if your problem is related to a little classpath problem you don't what classpath is about ;-)
