Hello,

Is there a way to update the WHERE clause in an update scenario without writing the HQL UPDATE or DELETE statement from scratch? For instance on a FIND you can pass in a criteria object which will affect the WHERE clause. Can this be done (maybe in a lifecycle event like preUpdate, prePersist), can the HQL be modified in any way?
