 Post subject: Seeking alternative to Annotations for hibernate search

I use Entity classes that are generated by another tool and the tool does not yet support ability to add custom annotations such as @Indexed and @Field annotations needed for Hibernate Search.

Is there some way (e.g. XML configuration, API) to add these search specific annotations?
