I have a many to many relationship between COURSE and STUDENT tables. My join table COURSE_STUDENT has courseId, studentId and EnrollmentDate. colums.

I have a java.util.Set of Course in Student Class, and vice versa. I mapped them using many-many tag in mapping file.

But I cannot figure out how to map EnrollmentDate which is in the join table. Only way i could think is to have a mapping for COURSE_STUDENT table. Any other ideas??

Thanks in advance,
