I'm interested to obtain the Hibernate Mapping xml file in a java representation.

I mean, from an hbm.xml file (hibernate-mapping root tag), does it exist a simple way to obtain a sort of HibernateMapping class object that contains all the information about the ORM mapping?
I saw that the package org.hibernate.mapping could be useful for me, but I did not understand how to use it.
