Hi,

I follow the online tutorial, http://www.hibernate.org/hib_docs/v3/re ... rial-intro, and was able to have the console app running, when a servlet is added, i got error:Initial SessionFactory creation failed.java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/hibernate/cfg/Configuration.

Is there a simple tutorial that is just servlet/hibernet? thanks. A.C.

That same tutorial, part 3, uses a servlet. Are you saying that you tried to follow the tutorial but got that error? If so, it looks like the problem is that you left a library out of your WAR file.
