 Post subject: Details of cause of HibernateException

Hibernate version: 3.2

I thought this would be a common question, but I guess not !

If we want to find out more about what caused a HibernateException, how do we do this ?

For instance, if we cannot create a session, we'd like to know some detail about why : the database is down, bad user ID or password, query timed out, things like that.

Thanks in advance for any help.
