Hello,

I have a persistent class with a set defined as follows:
Code:
    @org.hibernate.annotations.CollectionOfElements(fetch = FetchType.EAGER)
    @JoinTable(name = "PAYMENT_CHANGES", joinColumns = @JoinColumn(name = "PAYMENT_ID"))
    @Column(name = "CHANGE_TYPE")
    @Enumerated
    private Set<PaymentChangeType> changes;

When I run the following query:
Code:
from ChangedPayment cp where cp.changes is not empty

I get a query syntax error
Code:
org.hibernate.hql.ast.QuerySyntaxException: unexpected end of subtree [from asrs.payment.model.ChangedPayment cp where cp.changes is not empty]

If I replace the query with:
Code:
from ChangedPayment cp where size(cp.changes) <> 0

then everything works fine. I'm using Hibernate Core 3.2.4.sp1 with Annotations 3.3.0.ga.

Did I miss something really obvious there?

TIA
- Eric

PS: Same discrepancy if I use "size() = 0" vs. "is empty".
