 Post subject: HQL multiple queries

I have to make an Hql which execute different queries depending on a parameter. Something like:

If (parameter=0) then

from table1

else

from table2

end

The problem is that as silly as it seems I really have to do all of this in a single query, I cannot actually make the test in java and then call the query I want. Does one of you have an idea of how I could do that????
