Hallo all,

I have a Struts action which loads a lot of data at the beginning of the application. Now I wanted to refactor for performance and had a little discussion with my colleague.
He told me that using a Restrictions.in() in the criteria query needs more performance than sorting the unwanted items out in a loop.
Is this true that the performance cost is that high? When should I avoid using restrictions.in()?

Thanks a lot!
