hi,
Can we mention DBCP connection pool parameters in hibernate.cfg.xml OR we can only use DBCP in hibernate by the help of JNDI?

you can always use spring to configure both datasource and hibernate session factory (via spring factory bean) without jndi

You can use both in hibernate as well.

hmmm... yes, you right hibernate.dbcp.* properties do the trick

we cant have dbcp with hibernate.cfg.xml.
