 Post subject: Alternative to @PostLoad when using SessionFactory

Hi! I want to call a method on a domain object immediately after it has been loaded. I'm using a SessionFactory and Hibernate version 3.3.1.GA. I understand that @PostLoad is not an option, since I'm not using an EntityManager. Which other options do I have?
