Hello there,

my name is Andy and I am a newbie here.

A quick question for some guidelines, if I may. I looked through some FAQ and Hibernate's documentation but could not find the right approach.

Long story short I need to transform RDB tables to Java classes. As I was reading the first part of the tutorial, the opposite approach was explained.

Which technology should I look deeper into? Is this possible to accomplish as automatic as possible?

Thank you for any input.

Cheers,
Andy

Well one of the things is to try and generate hibernate mappings from tables and then generate code from hibernate mappings.

MyEclipse plugin can generate hbm files for you and the hbm2java tool can be used to generate java files.

But these may not be fully accurate.

*Please do rate if it helps*

Jitendra
