I am currently using Kodo's JDO. I would like to migrate from JDO to Hibernate. Here are my questions on this:

1) Is there a "magic" tool that would migrate from JDO to Hibernate?

2) Is there a documented procedure that would help in doing this migration?

3) Can JDO and Hibernate co-exist in an application, without requring me to migrate the whole thing at a time?

4) Would you feel it is not advisable to migrate because of mismatch between these two persistence mechanisms (if any) ?

5) Any pitfalls, where I may get trapped?
