Hi all,

Please let me know how efficient it is to query for multiple records in a large database using Hibernate.
Can we use JDBC to achieve the same? Which is most preferrable?

I am new to Hibernate. Please clarify the above.

Thanks,
Deepa

Why don't you write a JUnit test for both, time it, and see which you like. Hibernate is an abstration layer which provides you with simplicity but obviously at a slight performace cost.
If your app was really that performance critical I doubt you'd be using Java anyway.
