 Post subject: hibernate many-to-one/extends problem

I have to map an object AYE which extends from abstract class BEE. AYE has two instance variables of type BEE.

I have a mapping for BEE and just want AYE to create a row in table BEE and store the id of BEE in a record of AYE. any suggestions?
