 Post subject: reassociated object has dirty collection reference(or array)

I'm trying to save a Supplier object which as a certain number of properties of type List. On saving, I get this error:

org.hibernate.HibernateException: reassociated object has dirty collection reference (or an array)

Could anyone plz tell me why such error arises?
