 Post subject: LockMode.NONE and get()

I read somewhere that by default load() and get() use LockMode.NONE.
I know that LockMode.NONE implies that in order to get an object we hit the database ONLY if it is not in any cache.

But the get() always hit the database right?

So how can get() use by default LockMode.NONE?
