I am new in hibernate can anybody help but i have good knowledge of servlet, jsp and core java. I want to learn hibernate but haw can I start I don’t got any idea.
That is why I need ur help plz plz plz anybody tell step by step about hibernate how I can run a simple program. I have tomcat server 5.1.

Just follow instructions on this page http://www.hibernate.org/152.html under the section "I want to learn Hibernate for Java!". It's the fastest way to learn Hibernate if, like you said, you want a step by step tutorial on how to run a simple Hibernate program.

Dont be so crazy about Hibernate .As you said you have primary skill.For understanding of hibernate you should have depth understanding of object modeling .Excelant Database concept. If you particepated in Application Architect design .Hibernate is only the ORM tool but at least you should have understanding why we need ORM tool.Hibernate dosent mean simple inser delete update read.Keep try .
