How to integrate hibernate2 and hibernate3 in same application


Iam using hibernate2.1.6 but we have to generate jasper reports for that

we need to develope application in hibernate 3 so how to integrate the both

Hello Sandeep,

Really don't see the point of using both versions here and unless your application is absolutely massive I am sure you can make the switch to version 3 quite painlessly.

If you have the allowed time, back up your project as is, check the migration document and make the jump to version 3.

they can work side by side, they are in different package names

h2 is in net.sourceforge.hibernate.*
h3 is in org.hibernate.*
