Hibernate version:
3.2.1

in my web application i have a search formular where the user can fill in several fields and start the search. on the server i create a query with criteria.list() which can run a long time. if the user doesn't want to wait any longer and leaves the side, the query should be canceled. is there any way in hibernate to cancel my criteria query?

don't think so. unless you get another thread to blow the object away, but I have no idea what that will do to your app.
