Hi,

I've defined my primary key in Oracle as

ID RAW(16) default sys_guid()

I've tried different approaches but nothing really works:

1) @GeneratedValue. Identity doesn't work with this dialect.
2) No annotation. Hibernate forces me to assign a value (it overrides the default declaration)

Any help? thanks in advance

What do you exactily mean? I can't find anything about that more than @NamedNativeQuery but this wouldn't solve the inserts.

As far as I know, AUTO defaults to one of the other types during runtime. In Oracle I remember reading it defaults to SEQUENCE.
