Can I edit the Entity before updating the DB using Hibernate EventSystem.

Example:

Code:

   public void onPostUpdate(PostUpdateEvent event) 
   { 
      if(event.getEntity() instanceof Client) 
      {    
         Client client = (Client) event.getEntity(); 
         client.setName("Mike");  // <----
         ....         
      } 
   }
 

would the name of client be updated as expected?

I hope I made myself clear.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
