Hi there,

I have recently just started out using Hibernate with Ehcache.

I was just wondering how I can tell if Hibernate is actually fetching objects from Ehcache or from the database? I have enabled the ehcache (at least I believe I have), but I am still seeing a lot of Hibernate SELECT statements in my log. Does that mean that caching is not operating correctly?

Set the appropriate log settings and use the statistics information. Should provide all you need to know.
