 Post subject: hql functions e.g.current_timestamp() in formula or criteria

I have a problem using platform independent functions such as current_timestamp() in mapping formulas or in Creteria expressions.

Is there any right way to do it in hibernate besides using vendor-specific ones like (current timestamp for db2)?
