I frequently do ejb dev via annotation under jboss. I have a project where Tomcat 5.5 is used and I wish to use a persistance api to replace jdbc.

I don't know how to reference the persistance.xml file nor how to start hibernate. is it possible to use tomcat with hibernate Entitymanager api ? is there some kind of jndi ?

I take every link you can give me. i saw nothing about hibernate EntityManager on the internet
