My stack is Hibernate 3.2, Tomcat 5.5, Spring 2.0 and JBossCache 1.3 or 1.4... The big issue right now is how best to wire transaction management for JBossCache. In general, using the Spring supplied HibernateTransactionManager works great, but I just haven't figured out how to wire it to work for TreeCache...

Does anyone have any insight to share? Any useful remarks are worth buying you lunch next time you're in Boston... :)

thanks
Carl

The JBossCache cache wants to have a transaction mgr at cache creation that implements the javax.transaction.TransactionManager interface. The HibernateTransactionManager doesn't, so it looks like the only way on this is to do something with JOTM or similar... any thoughts out there?

thanks.
