Hi,
Any help would be appreciated - I've searched the forum and FAQ.

Tomcat logging to log/localhost.2006-10-19.log does not work with hibernate - works fine with struts alone
Env: Struts 1.2.9, Tomcat 5.5, Eclipse 3.2.0, Hibernate 3.2

hibernate jar files copied to WEB-INF/lib, including
hibernate3.jar
log4j-1.2.11.jar

hibernate.cfg.xml and log4j.properties in src
==========================
hibernate.cfg.xml
==========================
<?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>
<!DOCTYPE hibernate-configuration PUBLIC
"-//Hibernate/Hibernate Configuration DTD//EN"
"http://hibernate.sourceforge.net/hibernate-configuration-3.0.dtd">

<hibernate-configuration>
<session-factory>
<property name="hibernate.connection.driver_class">com.mysql.jdbc.Driver</property>
<property name="hibernate.connection.url">jdbc:mysql://localhost/hfydb</property>
<property name="hibernate.connection.username">root</property>
<property name="hibernate.connection.password">deka1802</property>
<property name="hibernate.connection.pool_size">10</property>
<!-- Echo all executed SQL to stdout -->
<property name="show_sql">true</property>
<property name="dialect">org.hibernate.dialect.MySQLDialect</property>
<!-- Drop and re-create the database schema on startup -->

<!-- Mapping files -->
<mapping resource="mapping/tutorial.hbm.xml"/>
<mapping resource="mapping/office.hbm.xml"/>
<mapping resource="mapping/property.hbm.xml"/>
</session-factory>
</hibernate-configuration>
