We are using Hibernate in Websphere Portal 5.1.0.2 enviornment. We are not sure but suddenly we are getting following error messages. Any idea?

Hibernate version:
3.0.1

Mapping documents:

Code between sessionFactory.openSession() and session.close():

I have started seeing it today too. In my case it happens on calls that use batch inserts. It makes no sense at all. Why should the question of permissions matter when doing a batch of inserts as opposed to doing them one at a time?

What version of Oracle are you using? My suspicions are raised about this because I never saw this issue when working against an Oracle9 database but I do get it when going against Oracle10. I suspect it could be a bug either in Oracle or in the Hibernate dialect.

I think there's probably nothing in common between our two cases other than that both produce the same Oracle Error Code.

best suggestion would be to use a JDBC logger and log DML going in, then cut and paste into your SQL tool with oracle....999 times out 1000, your SQL tool will give you the same exact error. From there, you can debug the problem further most likely after you know why the SQL fails first.
later,
Dean
