I've looked for an answer but I've found nothing.

Here you are our problem: our database is running on Oracle, we are using java servlets + spring + hibernate.

Usually all works fine but from time to time some record is removed instead of updated (without any exception!). This behaviour is strange and we cannot trace precise circumstances when they have been happened.

We rather exclude bug in our code - we don't remove any record at all.
