Hi,
I just happened to find the link where it was mentioned that EHCache1.2 has been released and has support for distributed caching:

http://www.theserverside.com/news/thread.tss?thread_id=40082

Does this mean that
Code:
<cache usage="transactional"/>
is supported in this new version. Can EHCache1.2 be used with Hibernate-3.1.2 in a Clustered envirnonment in JBoss-3.2.3?

I'm also interested in this topic!
I'm looking for a distributed cache to use in Websphere Application Server cluster with CMT (Container Managed Transaction).
Jboss's TreeCache does not support CMT, and EHCache might be a good choice, if it can work in transactional mode.

Has somebody succeed with it?
