i am new to Hibernate. I am working on Java Technology. Before i even didn't use JDBC. How should i start?

I don't think you have to study JDBC before using Hibernate. Sometimes, it can be interesting, but I would not say it's compulsory...

If you're familiar with the Java language and a bit of SQL, no need to know JDBC very well.

Just read the ref doc and refer to it every so often : http://www.hibernate.org/hib_docs/v3/reference/en/html/ try the basic examples given in the doc and try to do some other examples by yourself.
