Hello All,

I have a problem in my application which enables each user to create her own tables conposed of several columns at runtime. I guess I can create table at runtime to use your Hibernate's direct SQL query feature, but I have no good idea how to correspond it to a java class like java.util.Map. I think it isn't recommended, but I'm sure Hibernate is the best product on database applications.

So please help me and let me know if having a good solution.

Thanks a lot for your attention.
Tamsa

You can do this at application-deploy time using the dynamic-map entity map, but you cannot do it at runtime. If you used a single table for all users, then you could come up with a mapping. You'd need columns like ID, USER_ID, ATTRIBUTE, VALUE for a completely generic mapping. You'd have pretty nasty business logic dealing with that, but it's certainly possible.
